On the afternoon of October 20, 2020, Professor Cheng Zhili, editor in chief of sports and science, was invited to give an academic lecture on mutual evidence chain structure of sports behavior research for undergraduate and 2020 graduate students of physical education. The lecture was presided over by Professor Tao yuliu, vice president.

Professor Cheng Zhili, based on his more than 30 years' work and research experience in the field of physical education and his personal understanding and in-depth thinking on sports, made a wonderful speech for the students by citing a large number of vivid cases in the narrative way. He pointed out that physical education, as a discipline to study people's sports behavior, must not ignore the existence of human beings, and human behavior in sports is the main body of observation. He hoped that students in the future academic research process, to return to the problem itself, free from the existing theory and concept, with the help of a variety of subject knowledge, bold innovation, for sports science research to contribute their own strength.
In the interactive questioning session, the students showed enthusiasm and actively asked questions; for the questions and doubts raised by the students, Professor Cheng Zhili patiently answered questions one by one, forming a good interaction and communication with the students, and the scene atmosphere was very warm. Professor Cheng Zhili's wonderful lecture not only broadened the students' academic vision, but also provided a new thinking for the students of our college to further understand sports, so that the students were deeply inspired and benefited.

Finally, Professor Fan Bingyou expressed his heartfelt thanks to Professor Cheng Zhili for his wonderful lecture, and hoped that students would be diligent in thinking and dare to ask questions. Especially in the future academic research, we should cultivate the ability of independent thinking and temper our strong will. We should not rush for quick success and instant benefits, but move forward steadily.
